ATAC pioneered the use of the Internet to accomplish test management. ATAC’s Test schedules and reports are updated on a 24-hour basis. ATAC initiated a Watch Item and Deficiency Report process, linking a common relational database to the Internet, which allows the program office the ability to manage the program remotely. The A-10 SPO and the 422nd Squadron used this process to allow ACC participation in Material Command DT&E. Our common test approach is demonstrating that DT /OT commonality is not only possible but returns the efficiencies that the industry desires. ATAC flight test management through he Internet has been so successful Patuxent River NAS obligated funds to the 46th Test Wing to begin using the program for AIM-9X.

ATAC’s internet based automated time card database links to the JOCAS, TW MIS and EVCAS servers. ATAC’s automated accounting system brings in this information to allow ATAC management to track task status and create bi-monthly reports that support JOCAS/EVCAS consolidation. ATAC is one of the few contractors able to structure their corporate accounting system in this innovative manner.

When the 46 TW at Eglin AFB needed the MARS II direct read capability on PC, even though the local community said that it could not be done, ATAC delivered. When Edwards AFB needed an ARC file formatter and tape duplication process, ATAC delivered in five days; savings of $250K and four months compared to the Lockheed solution. When the WCMD SPO needed an imbedded PCM frame decoded, ATAC built the process in three days. When Eglin needed a cryptovariable scrubber, ATAC created a NSA approved process in four days.
